Oriental cockroaches are large and dark brown in color. These shiny cockroaches live in sewers and they help organic matter decay quickly. They are also known as water bugs because they are almost always seen coming out of sewers. They are also called black beetle cockroaches because of the shine on their body. Males have wings but they can't fly with them whereas females only have small stubs of underdeveloped wings. Their biological name is Blatta Orientalis.
